PERSONAL BIO

John was born in South Carolina and grew up in Northwest Georgia. After serving four years as a submariner in the United States Navy, John settled in Charleston where he met his wife, Kim. They have been happily married for over 30 years and have a son and a recently married daughter.

John's hobbies and interests include reading, gardening, surfing, hiking and wilderness camping in the mountains, as well as spending quality time with his family.
