You may make a counseling appointment with John by calling 843-225-3282. If you are outside the Charleston area, you can call toll-free at 866-546-2838. John will respond as promptly as possible. (For emergencies, see below.)

NEW CLIENTS - The Initial Assessment

At your first counseling appointment, John will work with you in identifying your counseling needs and begin formulating a treatment plan to help you achieve your counseling goals.

FEES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The cost for the Initial Assessment is $135.00 and will last approximately one hour. The fees for subsequent counseling sessions can be discussed with John at your first visit, or you may discuss this with him by phone before your first follow-up appointment.

Payment by cash or check is expected at the time of service. We expect you to notify our office, if possible, within 24 hours, if you are unable to keep your appointment. Failure to call us could result in charges for a "no show" appointment.

At John Alexander Counseling Services, the confidentiality of information shared by a client or potential client is very important to us. From the initial point of contact - whether by telephone, e-mail or in person - it is our policy to safeguard all matters pertaining to a client or potential client in accordance with applicable laws concerning client confidentiality and widely-accepted guidelines for counseling professionals.
